Caruth Haven Court Assisted Living Summer BBQ with friends and family!

It wouldn't be summer without gathering family and friends for a fun filled BBQ at Caruth Haven Court.

Getting my grandmother into Caruth Haven was the best decision we made for her after my grandfather's passing. The staff are extremely caring, they have daily activities and weekly field trips to keep them engaged. The grounds are beautiful and kept very clean, the dining services are also top-notch and allow residents to choose their meals in a sophisticated setting. I also know my grandmother is taking care of, safe and in good hands which is a huge blessing to me and my family. The year of 2020 created an enormous challenge for assisted living communities around the world; however, I have been amazed at the leadership from Laura Allegro as she has handled this crisis with a level of responsibility, class and dignity that allowed Caruth Haven to come through this year as well as any other facility in the world! Thank you Laura and thank you Caruth Haven!

My parents have been at Caruth Haven Court for over 3 years. I really appreciate the care the staff has taken with my parents. I especially want to commend the extraordinary care during this time of the Coronavirus. There safety protocols have been impressive. No residents have had COVID. They had tried to have activities to keep the spirits up during this time. I also really appreciated the inside visiting station so that I could visit inside.

Stay away! When Discovery Senior Living purchased CHC, the Executive Director (who had been there for years) left, as did the Medical Director. New Medical Director "does not do emails" and when trying to leave a message her voice mail is always full. Phone calls are rarely returned. The promises of ensuring your loved one will be encouraged to attend the activities is false - there is no encouragement. After numerous meetings, loved one's medication list was never accurate.
The staff is not equipped to handle the simpliest requests - they are not compassionate towards residents and have very little patience.
We have now moved our loved one, and several other residents are moving as well. Discovery Senior Living boasts of putting your loved ones first - not our experience. Care about your loved one to truly research a facilities background and don't let the beautiful landscape & white tablecloths fool you.

Terrible if your loved one needs a lot of assistance. I would not recommend.
