All it takes is one voice to be an advocate and make a lasting difference for FGLI students and graduates. Welcome to the CareerSpring Network Peoples Bank, and thank you for your invaluable support! Peoples Bank’s Chuck Sulerzyski joined the CareerSpring Network after being invited to become an Advisor by friend and National Board Member, Kevin Reeves. As the former CEO and President of Peoples Bank, he actively started connecting with Advisees to share his knowledge and expertise of the industry. Reflecting on his experience, Chuck remarked, “I’ve met many wonderful students all over the country. It is exciting to learn about their various journeys and to be able to provide some tips.” Chuck felt inspired to amplify the impact of CareerSpring Network on FGLI students and advocated for Peoples Bank to explore a partnership with CareerSpring. Peoples Bank embraced the opportunity to join our Network and make a difference. Chuck’s advocacy not only facilitated an Advisee’s successful employment but also integrated Peoples Bank and their opportunities into the CareerSpring Network—furthering their impact on FGLI Advisees for years to come. Thank you to Chuck, Tonya Steele Potter, and the entire team at Peoples Bank! Read the full story at www.CareerSpring.org/news

Every Spring, the CareerSpring Team works closely with Education Partners that serve high school students to host matriculation lessons. Our goal? Ensure that every graduating high school senior from our Network upgrades their CareerSpring account so they get full access to our resources. In April, Eliane Abou-Assi visited Education Partner, Genesys Works New York City, and presented to 36 of their graduating seniors. Saree Waxter, student of the graduating cohort, shared of her first impression of CareerSpring, “I think the CareerSpring demo was amazing! It offered a lot of variety when searching for career opportunities. I liked how there is a review system for the Advisors. It gives me a chance to understand if the person is available and was helpful to others.” The CareerSpring Team works with our Education Partners on the best way to engage students and guide them through our Career Platform's resources. Jason Michalski, Senior Alumni Coordinator & Lead Technical Trainer, shared, “CareerSpring goes above and beyond to support our students as if they were their own, providing personalized 1:1 support, robust info sessions, incredible resources, and genuine care and dedication to their success. Partnering with CareerSpring has brought our alumni programming to the next level.” Cheers to the graduating high school class of 2024, and welcome to the CareerSpring Network!
