  • Evergreen Life Services is thrilled to welcome Frank C. Davis III as the Chair of Evergreen’s Board of Directors. Evergreen Life Services is a non-profit that serves nearly 1,000 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) across seven states. For almost 65 years, Evergreen Life Services has championed individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach their highest potential for independence, self-care, and productivity. As a charitable, non-profit organization, Evergreen offers physical, emotional, and spiritual support while giving peace of mind to the families and loved ones it serves. Evergreen began as a Presbyterian ministry to provide community-based services to local residents with disabilities. It was through the Presbyterian Church that Davis first learned about Evergreen. His church, Highland Park Presbyterian Church in Dallas, took an offering for Evergreen, and he learned more about Evergreen’s mission and impact. Davis was moved and got involved. In the last 20 years, Davis has served on Evergreen's Foundation Board, Evergreen’s National Board and several of its subsidiary Boards in Texas and Florida. “Frank is a passionate advocate for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and brings talent, expertise, and energy to the table,” Dr. Sue Buchholtz, Evergreen President and CEO, said. “We are very fortunate to have him lead our Board as we continue to seek ways to better the lives of the most vulnerable among us.” Davis is a semi-retired Dallas-based attorney specializing in oil and gas and land work. He worked as a landman for Diamond Shamrock and later for Sun Exploration Company as an in-house attorney in the 1980s. He started his own practice in 1992.
