Over 1,200 physicians practice more than 95 medical specialties at Medical City, offering the broadest range of specialty care for adults and children in North Texas. In 2003, Medical City became the first hospital in North Texas to be designated as a Magnet facility by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for excellence in nursing care. Located on the same campus as Medical City is Medical City Children’s, a pediatric specialty hospital providing comprehensive care for children from birth to age 18.
